I have too many other books lying around waiting to be read for me to waste anymore time right now on this one, seeing how it’s not holding my interest at all. Then she exhausted her energy and vanished. Standing in the moonlight, sitting in an attic room… But the memories were too vague.
Feb 16, Jess rated it really liked it. This review is just for “The Fury” which is book three in the “Vampire Diaries” series. I would love to hear from anyone who has read one and seen the show. And now Elena is back, so now its going to be all about her even more. She has written over two dozen books for children and young adults, and has enjoyed writing every one of them.
I couldn’t stop reading. When I finished this bind-up after another weekI couldn’t wait for The Return series – And now, as an introductory part, The Return series is awesome!

I still dunno why. If I had to compare which volume I “liked” the best, I would choose this one out of the first two, but having said that my enjoyment of The Fury and Dark Reunion would not have been whole without the setting establishment and fiaries development found in the first volume.
I picked up The Vampire Diaries series with the full knowledge that if I read one, I’d read them fampire, but it wouldn’t be that hard to manage, as they were each fairly quick reads.

Bonnie grows more interesting in The Reunion, because she actually grows a backbone, somewhere along the way. What I was surprised about, was that L.
They seem to be friends again, and Bonnie seems to think it’s possible Caroline has grown up, and matured since the last 3 books. I’m not sure if this was a trilogy that accidentally became a quarter, but it sure felt like it. Plus the lights were flickering in the storm last night, which greatly added to the atmosphere.
But can I just say, wow. The only problem I had was that they defeated her too easily, she was an older vampire and she just died so easy. Damon finally has claim over Elena.

And things get even worse for poor Vickie. Elena finally got a backbone, but lost it. Sadly, there’s a fourth book written after audiences clamored for more seriously?!
